Hannah Green is a textile designer and innovator specialising in Surface Manipulation & Digital Print. Her interests lie in the response of people to tactile and visually engaging surfaces.  Having completed a three year course in Textiles at The Arts University Bournemouth Hannah has been able to develop her skills with confidence. 

 

Placing an important focus on the experimentation and exploration of materials and techniques, which influence the way in which she designs and creates.  A keen interest in contemporary craft, has led Hannah to explore fresh ways of using new technologies such as laser cutting and digital printing that demonstrate skill and creative thinking. Combining these processes with more traditional hand techniques explored from a contemporary view, to produce innovative and bespoke pieces.

 

Her current work has led her down the route of flooring and rugs moving away from the digital and towards traditional. Using a contemporary twist on a traditional technique she has been able to create a collection for space and emotion, with each one being carefully hand made.
